President Obama is scheduled to visit the much-lauded Pathways in Technology Early College High School on Friday. All of Prospect Park — about 20 blocks away — will be closed during his visit.

Brooklyn’s joggers, nannies and dogs will have to find another place to play Friday as security officials take the unusual step of closing all of Prospect Park for President Obama’s visit.

The park will be inaccessible from noon to 6 p.m. “due to security associated with the President’s visit,” according to the city Parks Department’s website.

On Tuesday, Marine helicopters made a practice landing in the park’s ballfield area. Obama is scheduled to visit the much-lauded Pathways in Technology Early College High School, roughly 20 blocks from the park in Crown Heights.

“This seems so over the top for just a short speech,” said Brendan Skidmore, 27, who was walking his border terrier, Otis, in the park.
