‘No-talent d–k’ defaces latest Banksy work

New Yorkers kept up a rabid Banksy Watch as the elusive artist, who is on a month-long “residency” in the city, continues to decorate the city with his work.

In Queens last night, annoyed Banksy fans watched and shot video as Banksy’s latest stencil — of a man scrubbing away the words “what we do in life echoes in eternity,” on a Woodside wall – was defaced.

As a man tagged the wall with the words “Problem Child NYC,” witnesses told the man he was painting over “thousands of dollars” worth of work. One furious female called the hooded graffiti vandal an “asshole” and “no-talent d*ck” as he left the site, which he claimed was “his” area.

“Just witnessed the Banksy mural in Queens being defaced. My heart is broken,” tweeted fan Kevin Mazeski.

Mazeski also claimed the notoriously camera-shy Banksy, who has never been positively identified publicly, watched the vandalism.

“Also, I definitely met Banksy, he was there during the defacing, laughed and left like any true gentleman would,” Mazeski tweeted.

He later told Gawker, “He was a middle aged man, he laughed and said it was only a matter of time. Explaining how this was the process and expected. Once the man was finished painting over the mural, the alleged Banksy shook my hand and left, hopefully to stir up something else…”

Mazeski said the man he saw was more than six feet tall, with short, messy salt and pepper hair and light eyes. He was wearing a black leather jacket.

“He told us he was a journalist, but gave another guy a card which said he was a real estate agent,” he said, adding that the mystery man whipped out a digital camera and started to show photos – but quickly closed a digital folder entitled “paintings.”

“He showed me a pic of two men walking down the street saying one guy was Banksy while the other was his helper, oddly enough looking exactly like him.”
