What ‘Baby Hope’ would have grown up to look like

This is what “Baby Hope” would have grown up to look like today — if she hadn’t been tortured, sodomized and murdered at the tender age of 4.

Older sister Lorena Castillo bears a striking similarity to the sketch that cops drew up after tragic tot Anjelica Castillo’s naked and bound body was found stuffed into a filthy cooler along the Henry Hudson Parkway in 1991.

“When my mom saw the drawing, she said Anjelica would’ve looked just like me if she were alive,” Lorena told The Post on Monday.

“She said I look like her.”

Teary eyed and in a voice choked with emotion, Lorena said she didn’t learn until age 11 that she had a sister who had been murdered. She found out from younger sister Maribel Castillo — who had been living with their father — when the girl moved in with her family.

But it wasn’t until last Tuesday that she first heard about the famous Baby Hope case from watching a TV news report. The next day, NYPD detectives visited her home and said Anjelica was Baby Hope.

“They sat down and started asking me all these questions and I just broke down,” she said.

“It was hard to find out like that. I still don’t feel good about all this. At least she can rest in peace now.”

Lorena said she has no memories of her slain sibling, who was 2 when their parents split, with father Genaro Ramirez taking Anjelica and Maribel, and mom Margarita Castillo taking Lorena.

“I’m trying to remember her but I can’t,” Lorena said tearfully about Anjelica.

“I wish I remembered my sister. I wish I had a photo of her.”

Conrado Juarez, 52, who’s cousin of the girls on their dad’s side, was charged Saturday in the cold-case murder of Anjelica after allegedly confessing that he smothered her with a pillow while sodomizing her in an Astoria apartment.

He also allegedly admitted that he disposed of the body with the help of his sister, Balvina Juarez-Ramirez, who has since died.
