It finally felt like spring in the city Friday, and after a long cold winter, locals and tourists alike made sure they took advantage.
“It feels great,” said one person. “I thought winter 2014 would never end, so it’s nice to be walking around without a coat for once.”
“I think it’s lovely. It’s fantastic,” said another. “We’re actually visiting from Toronto, and the weather there is abysmal, so I’m very happy with it.”
“Not as cool as I was hoping it would be,” said a third. “We’re a little caught off guard because we thought it was going to be cool, and we’re from California, and very surprised that it’s this warm here.”
The warm weather is expected to last through the weekend.
