Heart-broken loved ones processed on Sunday to the Queens home of the elderly dad who was killed by cops after he blasted his daughter in the head and wounded her dog.

Friends left flowers on the porch of the two-story home on 38th St. in Astoria where Jack Calvello, 86, shot his daughter Carolann Matyka, 65, and injured her brown Yorkshire terrier known to neighbors as Jack.

“That poor girl. She was such a nice girl. Why did he have to do this? It’s so sad,” said Rose Larkin. “It’s really sad. He was a small, delicate man. I mean, she took care of him. I think she was retired. She only took care of him.”

The bloodthirsty senior citizen phoned cops and told them he had killed his daughter, injured her dog and was planning to off himself at 11:20 a.m. on Saturday, police said.

Cops raced to the scene and ordered Calvello to drop his 12-gague shotgun but he refused and kept charging toward them, prompting one of the officers to shoot him in the abdomen, police said.

Matyka was found in the kitchen with a gunshot wound to the head, police said. She later died at Elmhurst Hospital Center, cops said.

The pooch had a laceration to the neck and is recovering the ASPCA on the Upper East Side, police sources said.

Calvello died at Mount Sinai Hospital of Queens.
