Abu Dhabi will apparently soon become the planet that’s the farthest from the bright center of the universe

“Star Wars: Episode VII” will partially film in and around he city-state in the United Arab Emirates, which will double for Luke Skywalker’s home planet of Tatooine, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Sources told the industry trade publication that the region would double for the desert planet for a four week shoot.

Tunisia has been used for scenes set on Tatooine in five of the six previous “Star Wars” installments but instability has made filming in the Northern African country too dangerous this time around.

Discarded sets in the country have remained a draw for tourism there.

The idea of a return to Tatooine jibes with what little is known about director J.J. Abrams’ first foray into that galaxy far, far away.

The life-long “Star Wars” nerd has opted to remain very faithful to creator George Lucas’ original vision, even co-writing the script with “Empire Strikes Back” scribe Lawrence Kasdan and tapping composer John Williams for the score.

It’s also all but officially been confirmed that original trilogy stars Mark Hamill (Skywalker), Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia), Harrison Ford (Han Solo) and Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca) are on board for the film, which hits theaters on Dec. 18, 2015.
