A sicko was busted Wednesday when he sent his laptop to get repaired at a Queens Best Buy and workers discovered child pornography on the idiot’s screen saver.
Michael Murray, 61, was charged with 15 counts of possessing a sexual performance by a child after a computer technician at the Long Island City store spotted the pervy pictures.
Upon turning on the laptop on April 1 — a week after the defendant allegedly dropped it off — the worker saw a sickening slideshow featuring “young girls posing provocatively or engaging in sexual acts with adult men,” according to Queens prosecutors.
“These photographs depict real children who will no doubt be emotionally and physically scarred for the rest of their lives,” said Queens District Attorney Richard Brown.
The technician told his supervisors, who discovered 15 images depicting child pornography and then promptly called the police.
When investigators went to Murray’s East Elmhurst home Wednesday he admitted to the creepy contents of his screen saver and also confessed to exchanging explicit pictures online for the past five years, Brown said.
“This defendant is alleged to have had some very disturbing photographs of children being sexually abused on his computer,” the DA added.
The accused pervert was awaiting arraignment. He faces up to four years in prison if convicted.
