A man was killed after his car slammed into a flatbed truck in Brooklyn.
Police say it happened as the car was coming off of the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway near Atlantic Avenue and Hicks Street around noon Wednesday.
They say the car hit the truck that was waiting at a red light.
One witness says he saw the accident, and the brutal way the driver died.
“Because he hit the right side of the trailer, and only the right side of the trailer went on his side…the driver’s side of the car, and took his head off,” the witness said.
A female passenger was hospitalized with back and neck pain.
