A 49-year-old man attacked his wife, son and mother-in-law in Flushing Queens on Wednesday night.
Investigators say the attack happened at around 9 p.m. Wednesday at a home on Jasmine Avenue in Flushing. They found all four family members suffering from serious injuries.
Sources say the man’s 7-year-old son was rushed to the Long Island Jewish Medical Center with blunt force trauma to the skull. He is in stable condition, according to sources.
The man’s 77-year-old mother-in-law had cuts on the top of her head and was taken to New York Hospital Queens. The 44-year-old wife received cuts to her head and blunt force trauma to her face. She was taken to Jamaica Hospital.
All three victims are expected to survive.
Sources say the attacker had self-inflicted cuts to his neck and his chest.
Police are investigating.
A motive has not been determined.
