Two female Hell’s Kitchen thieves jumped a woman and stole her cellphone, police said Sunday.
The thugs sneaked up behind the 29-year-old victim on West 47th Street near 11th Avenue at around 9:40 p.m. Sept. 29, threw her to the ground and snatched her Samsung Galaxy III, cops said.
They then fled west toward 11th Avenue.
A bank bandit made off with more than $ 1,000 during a midday robbery in the East Village, police said Sunday.
The thief walked into the Chase Bank branch on Second Avenue near St. Mark’s Place at around 2:35 p.m. Saturday and handed a teller a demand note claiming he had a gun, cops said.
The teller handed over $ 1,080 and the thief fled.
The 5-foot-10 crook is believed to be in his mid to late 20s and may be an albino, cops said.
He was wearing a black and gray jacket, dark-rimmed glasses, black sneakers and a red bandanna around his neck.
Queens
A man was shot on a Jamaica street corner in the predawn hours Sunday, police said.
The 21-year-old victim was shot in the chest at 89th Avenue and 175th Street at around 3:40 a.m., not long after having an argument nearby, cops said.
The victim was taken to Jamaica Hospital and he is expected to survive, authorities said.
The shooter fled, and no arrests had been made as of Sunday night.
Brooklyn
A woman survived after taking six bullets fired by a skateboarder in Prospect Lefferts Gardens, police said Sunday.
The thug shot the 26-year-old victim five times in the buttocks and once in the thigh on Rogers Avenue near Hawthorne Street at around 8:15 p.m. Saturday, cops said.
The woman was taken to Kings County Hospital, where she was listed in stable condition.
The shooter skateboarded away, wearing a gray hoodie and gray jeans, according to police.
It’s not clear what sparked the shooting, but the victim has a long history of criminal activity with at least 20 run-ins with cops, sources said.
The Bronx
Police are looking for a man who tried to rape a 42-year-old woman as she was taking a pre-dawn stroll in Kingsbridge.
The perv ran up behind the victim, grabbed her, and shoved her between two parked cars at East 197th Street and Clafin Avenue at around 5:20 a.m. Sept. 20, police said.
The would-be rapist demanded that the victim follow him to an isolated area, police said.
But she saw a passer-by and screamed for help, scaring off the attacker, cops added.
The thug is about 5-foot-6 with a thin build and a mustache.
He was wearing jeans, sneakers and a baseball cap, and he appeared to have a handkerchief dangling from his right rear pocket, surveillance video shows.
Staten Island
Police are asking for the public’s help in finding two crooks who robbed a livery cab driver in West Brighton.
The thieves got into the car at Elm Street near Henderson Avenue just after midnight Sept. 12, pulled guns on the driver and demanded his valuables.
The two made off with the hack’s GPS, $ 65 in cash and his cellphone battery, cops said.
Police released a surveillance video image of one of the suspects, and say he is wanted for questioning.
