The gangbanger who refused to cooperate with police investigating the death of his toddler son — killed by a bullet meant for him — is still living a life of crime, sources said.
Anthony Hennis, 24, was busted again around 1:20 a.m. Saturday after being stopped for having a defective license-plate light, law-enforcement sources said.
Hennis was pulled over in a 2001 Chevy Suburban on Linwood Street and Hegeman Avenue in East New York, Brooklyn. When he was asked for identification, he claimed he did not have a driver’s license and gave false aliases, sources said.
“He’s been arrested 26 times and gets caught driving without a license all the time,” a police sources said.
Hennis, who was arrested 26 times before Saturday, was arraigned on charges of unlicensed driving, false personation, possession of stolen property and a violation for the faulty license-plate light.
Hennis’ 16-month-old boy, Antiq, was killed in his stroller by a bullet meant for the Crips-member dad who was pushing the stroller in September 2013.
Hennis made headlines over a refusal to identify the killer or assist in the investigation and later with an offer to tell the story to the media for a price.
