Cop arrested after dragging his child’s mother with car

An NYPD cop ended up in cuffs after dragging his baby’s mother with his car in The Bronx on Sunday, authorities said.

Off-duty Officer Julio Jimenez was in his vehicle arguing with the woman, then drove off as she leaned into the car around 2 a.m. in Throgs Neck, sources said. Jimenez, 29, drove slowly with the woman half-in and half-out of the car, sources added.

The woman suffered cuts on her legs and head pain, authorities said. It was not immediately clear if the woman sought medical attention, but her injuries were not life-threatening.

Jimenez was charged with assault, reckless endangerment and leaving the scene of an accident, according to cops.
