An eighth grade girl was groped by a man with a Mohawk while she was on her way to school in Queens Tuesday, law enforcement said.
The 14-year-old girl was heading to The Walter H. Crowley School of Leadership around 7:55 a.m. when she was attacked by the creep on 47th Avenue and 76th Street in Elmhurst, cops said.
The man believed to be in his 20’s suddenly grabbed the child’s chest at which point, the victim kicked him and began to run, cops said.
He initially followed her but she was able to lose him, sources said.
The girl rushed to school and immediately reported the incident to school staff who notified police, her parents, and a guidance counselor, a spokeswoman for the DOE said.
No injuries were reported, cops said.
The suspect is between 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-9 with a black Mohawk and was wearing a black shirt, black pants, and a white necklace, cops said.
