Prosecutor Matthew Bogdanos shredded the outlandish testimony of a pharmaceutical exec on trial for fatally poisoning her severely autistic son nearly five years, during cross examination Wednesday in Manhattan court.
Gigi Jordan, 53, had told jurors that she committed the ‘mercy killing’ of Jude Mirra, 8, and unsuccessfully attempted suicide to protect her son.
She feared her ex-husband Ray Mirra would kill her and that her son would be handed over to his biological father, Emil Tzekov, who she believed was sexually abusing him.
But despite the sick allegations Jordan still listed her ex-husband as an emergency contact at Jude’s school only a few months before the Feb 5 2010 murder.
“Listing Mr. Mirra as an emergency contact at Studio School Oct 4 2009 that was your choice to do that, correct?”
“Yes,” she answered.
Even more damning, the men Jordan claimed to be protecting her son from had no legal rights over him.
“Ma’am both Ray Mirra and Emil Tzekov waived all parental rights over Jude Mirra prior to February 3 of 2010 correct?” he asked.

“Yes,” she answered.
Jordan admitted she and Jude hadn’t even seen the man she believed was plotting to kill her since a chance meeting at a Manhattan church at least six months prior to murdering her son.
Bogdanos questioned the flurry of messages Jordan claimed she exchanged with her son – despite his inability to write or speak – beginning in March of 2008.
“’I want to aggressively punish God’ – who typed those words?” Bogdanos asked Jordan.
“Jude,” she answered.
“Your 6.5-year-old child the first night he ever typed typed out the words ‘I want to aggressively punish God’?” he asked incredulously of the notes that purportedly referred to abuse.
“Yes,” she replied in a business like tone as jurors rolled their eyes.
During the cross examination, Jordan said Jude had fingered at least 20 people as having physically or sexually abused him.
