Sources tell NY1 a 43-year-old man was busted Tuesday with more than 30 counterfeit tickets in his possession.
They say the tickets were sophisticated enough to trick scanners and allow fans into the big game.
NY1 is told Damon Daniels was arrested in the Bronx as part of an undercover investigation.
Sources say authorities also found more than 140 counterfeit tickets in Daniel’s apartment.
NY1 is told they were for several events and were worth more than $ 70,000.
Investigators also seized two computers, a laser jet printer and other materials used to make the counterfeit tickets.
Daniels is charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument and trademark counterfeiting.
A 32-year-old man from Philadelphia was also arrested, but his involvement remains unclear.
