Employees were evacuated from Radio City Music Hall Friday night after a fire broke out in a basement transformer, authorities said.
The blaze erupted about 8:50 p.m.at the historic venue at Sixth Avenue and 50th Street, and was contained to the underground room where it started.
There was no show in progress at the time, and none of the four employees working at the time was injured.
