J.R. Smith’s latest antics cost him $ 50,000.

Knicks guard J.R. Smith was fined $ 50,000 by the NBA on Wednesday for unsportsmanlike conduct after a second shoelace stunt.

According to an NBA source, Smith was warned by the NBA after he loosened the left shoelace of Shawn Marion in Dallas on Sunday as they waited for a free throw late in the second quarter. Smith ignored the warning and reached for Greg Monroe’s sneaker during Tuesday night’s victory of the Pistons at the Garden.
