Man dies after being hit by car in Bronx

The man died a few hours after he was rushed to St Barnabas Hospital.




A 53-year-old man was struck by a car and killed while crossing a busy Bronx street on Thursday, sources said.


The man was crossing Southern Blvd. in Belmont around 5:30 p.m. when he was hit by the car traveling northbound, sources said.

The victim was rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital in critical condition but died hours later, sources said.


Cops are still investigating the accident.
