Menachem Stark, pictured, was kidnapped and killed in early January. Now, it turns out $ 1.7 million was withdrawn over a period of time from a bank account linked to a $ 10-in-debt building owned by Stark and a business partner.
The $ 1.7 million that went missing from a bank account controlled by slain Brooklyn landlord Menachem Stark and his business partner was withdrawn over a “protracted period of time,” it was revealed Thursday.
Jonathan Flaxer, the newly appointed trustee for Stark and Israel Perlmutter’s $ 40 million-in-debt Williamsburg, Brooklyn, building, told a U.S. Bankruptcy Court judge the cash vanished before Stark’s murder earlier this month.

He told Judge Elizabeth Stong the money was withdrawn over time.
