Puppet allegedly delivers message to Muslim Brotherhood

Egyptian puppet Abla Fahita (right, with Caro Carolina) in allegedly delivered a coded message about an upcoming attack to the Muslim Brotherhood.




A puppet is accused of trying to pull some espionage strings in Egypt.


Prosecutors have questioned Vodafone Egypt officials over an online advertisement featuring a puppet, after a controversial blogger said the ad delivers a coded message about an upcoming attack to the Muslim Brotherhood, the company said Wednesday.

Ahmed “Spider,” a self-styled youth activist and supporter of ousted President Hosni Mubarak, said a code about an attack is included in the details of the telecom firm’s ad, which stars well-known puppet Abla Fahita.


A mall and dog mentioned in the ad refer to the planned site of the attack, according to Spider.
