Prosecutors say the man accused of murdering his wife and two daughters hugged and kissed the little girls before stabbing them to death.
Relatives are planning a wake and funeral in the city Thursday for 21-year-old Deisy Garcia, 1-year-old Yaslin and 2-year-old Daniela.
Their bodies will be flown back to Guatemala for burial.
They were found stabbed multiple times on Sunday, in their apartment above a pharmacy in the Jamaica section of Queens.
Garcia’s husband, Miguel Mejia-Ramos, was arrested in connection to the case.
Prosecutors say he had been drinking when he attacked his family after going through his wife’s phone and Facebook account.
He was picked up in Texas Monday.
Authorities believe he was trying to flee to Mexico.
He’s expected to be arraigned on murder charges in Queens Thursday morning.
