Police Seek Man Who Allegedly Assaulted Police Officer in Manhattan



Police are looking for a man who they say assaulted a police officer in Manhattan.


Investigators say it happened around 1:30 a.m. Sunday at the DeWitt Clinton Houses in East Harlem as housing officers tried to make some kind of stop.


The female officer was left with broken teeth and a cut on her face. She was taken to NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital.


Police are looking for a man who was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with red writing and gray pants.
