A man jumped to his death from a Midtown Manhattan hotel Tuesday morning, cops said.

The unidentified 45-year-old man was staying on the 10th floor of the Gem Hotel on West 36th Street near eighth Avenue, and jumped around 10 a.m, according to police.

Investigators said the man landed on the 6th floor rooftop of an adjoining building.

It wasn’t immediately clear why he jumped but hotel guests said they heard arguing around 8 a.m.

“It was definitely a shock. You don’t go on vacation and expect something like this to happen,” said Jay Arellano, 48, a guest at the hotel.
