Police are looking for a disabled man who went missing in Brooklyn.
Geovanny Gonzalez, 26, was last seen on Friday near Grove and Wyckoff avenues in Bushwick.
Friends and family are handing out missing persons flyers throughout the neighborhood.
Gonzalez was visiting from Ecuador and staying with family in Ridgewood.
His cousin says he suffers from epilepsy and has missed multiple doses of his medication.
His family say he has the mental capacity of a 10-year-old and doesn’t speak any English. They’re asking anyone who sees him to call his name, because they say he will respond.
“Don’t walk on by if you see someone who fits the description and really it’s all about sharing the flyer at this time, and calling 911. So that’s all we really urge the community at large to do for us,” says brother-in-law Jose Rosario.
“It’s very sad. I’m feeling sad too because you know, my brother—my family come to visit me and now were in this situation we are so, nobody’s happy,” says aunt Maria Gonzalez.
A police dog last picked up his scent at the Myrtle Wyckoff Train Station in Bushwick.
Gonzalez is described as being about 6 feet tall, weighing 180 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.
He was last seen wearing a brown and grey polo shirt, dark pants, and black shoes.
