A 10-car accident on the Major Deegan Expressway injured two people Thursday morning.

Two people were injured in a 10-car chain-reaction crash that snarled traffic on the Major Deegan Expressway Thursday morning, authorities said.

The accident left a jagged procession of bumper-to-bumper cars blocking the highway’s southbound lane near Mosholu Parkway about 6:20 a.m., Fire Department sources said.
