A man was shot inside a Brooklyn subway station. The scene was being investigated and the 24-year-old victim was expected to live.



Shots rang out inside a Brooklyn subway station just south of Prospect Park on Monday afternoon, leaving a 24-year-old man wounded, cops said.


The man, whose identity wasn’t released, was shot in the torso at the Church Ave. stop on the B and Q subway line around 2 p.m., police said.

The shooter was seen fleeing the location on E. 18th St. He was wearing a red jump suit, cops said. The victim was taken to Kings County Hospital and was not likely to die, police said.
