A Department of Education shoveling snow outside P.S. 102 in East Harlem was slashed by three teens in an apparent random attack.



A Department of Education worker shoveling snow outside an East Harlem school was slashed across the face by three teens in an apparently random attack early Wednesday, police sources said.


The 40-year-old victim was rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The slashing occurred in front of Public School 102 on E. 113th St. at 3:50 a.m., sources said.


The suspects, described as males in their late teens, fled and were being sought.

Sources said they attacked the victim without warning as he was shoveled snow in preparation for the school day.
