Woman jumps to her death at Throgs Neck Bridge

A woman jumped to her death off the Throgs Neck Bridge on Friday morning.

She was pulled from the icy East River by harbor cops who had been called to the area after the discovery of skeletal remains that may be linked to missing autistic boy Avonte Oquendo, authorities said.

The woman survived the initial 14-story plunge from the middle of the span, but was pronounced dead at Jacobi Hospital.

Her name, age and residence have not yet been released, but authorities said her car was found abandoned on a Queens side entrance ramp to the bridge.
