A man who looked like he’d just lost a fight walked into a Chase branch on Long Island, threatened a teller and made a clean getaway with an undetermined amount of cash, cops said Friday.
The robber — with bandages covering his head, a neck brace and one arm in a sling — robbed the bank on Route 25A in Setauket at about 12:40 p.m. Thursday.
The crook indicated to a teller that he had a weapon and demanded cash, and the teller complied, cops said.
The man — described as being in his early 40s and 5-foot-8 with a medium to heavy build — then fled on foot.
