East Hampton man shoots out TV during argument

A Long Islander got into a huge blowout with a relative Friday morning and took out his rage by shooting a TV with a sawed-off shotgun, cops said.

Valon Shoshi, 28, a former assistant chief in the East Hampton Village Ambulance corps who has posted Facebook pics at the shooting range, shot the TV in his Gardiner Avenue home at around 10:30 a.m., according to cops.

He then took off in his black Cadillac coupe — prompting a complete lockdown of all area schools as cops searched the neighborhood surrounding Jericho Lane.

Cops kept tabs on Shoshi by calling his cell, they said. He was arrested two hours later after sending police on a brief chase up Abrahams Path in Amagansett and eventually pulling him over on Springs Fireplace Road.

The relative, who wasn’t identified, suffered minor injuries from the shotgun blast and was taken to Southampton Hospital.

Shoshi has boasted of his shooting skills in firing-range photos in which he’s seen holding what appears to be an assault rifle.
