An Alabama man has been missing for more than a week after he mysteriously texted “help” to family and friends.

Mobile man Charles (Bubba) Jackson, 33, hasn’t been heard from since he was a no-show to meet his girlfriend in Citronelle last Friday, police told the Mobile Press-Register.

The 5-foot-8, 165 pound man was last seen walking around the intersection of Moffett and Schillinger Roads before he blasted out the cryptic text.

The white man, with brown hair and eyes, has tattoos reading “Laugh Now” on one arm and “Cry Later” on the other. He also has flames inked on his left arm and “13” on his right wrist.

The text message was the last time Jackson used his phone, cops say. He’d had an argument with a family member the day before he disappeared, Mobile police told the newspaper.

Anyone with information on the disappearance is asked to call the Mobile Police Department at 251-208-7211.
