Four Sought by Police in Connection With Assault with BB Gun in Harlem Store

Police are looking for four suspects wanted for an assault with a BB gun in a Harlem store.

Police say the people shown above in surveillance photos are suspected of assaulting three people Sunday in a candy and grocery store on Lennox Avenue near West 112th Street.

The store owner says one of the suspects fired at least 30 BBs, hitting both store employees and bystanders.

“Three or four people come in my store. One of them have mask on his face, and they start shooting inside the counter. They shoot my son,” said store owner Zeyed Jaran. “I have to defend my son. I try to grab the guy with the gun from his hand, and two other guys, they come hit me up.”

Surveillance video shows what the owner says was an altercation between one of the suspects and a store employee the day before the assault.

He says the suspect became angry when the employee would not sell him an age-restricted item without checking his ID.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit http://ift.tt/17IHIZe.
