A man was killed when he jumped in front of an oncoming Q train in Brighton Beach just after midnight on Friday, authorities said.
The man, who police said was in his mid 40s, apparently threw himself in front of the southbound Q train as it rolled into the Ocean Pkwy. station shortly after midnight on Friday, police said.
Emergency responders rushed the critically injured man to Coney Island Hospital, but he could not be saved.
Police were investigating the death.
