LeBron’s Big Night Pushes Nets to Brink

A 49-point performance from LeBron James was too much for the Nets to overcome Monday night, as the Miami Heat topped Brooklyn 102-96 in Game 4 at the Barclays Center to take a 3-1 lead in their Eastern Conference Semifinal series.

A three-point shot by Chris Bosh broke a 94-94 tie with 57 seconds left and put the Heat ahead for good.

Bosh finished with 12 points, while Dwayne Wade had 15 for Miami.

James shot 16 of 24 from the field and hit 14 of 19 free throws.

Joe Johnson led the Nets with 18 points.

Paul Pierce had 16 points and seven rebounds for Brooklyn, while Deron Williams had 13 points, seven assists and six rebounds.

The Heat can clinch the series with a win in Game 5 in Miami Wednesday night.
