Mayor Bill de Blasio is set to lay out his revised Executive Budget later today – the first of his administration.
The spending plan is expected to contain more detail than the $ 74 billion preliminary budget the mayor first laid out in February.
Since that budget was proposed, the city has reached a nine-year labor deal with the teachers union which includes raises and back pay.
But more than 150 other unions are still working without a contract.
The new budget will also reflect $ 300 million the state is providing for universal pre-kindergarten.
The mayor is not expected to announce any tax hikes or major service cuts today.
A final budget is due by the end of June.
NY1 will carry the mayor’s Executive Budget address live starting at 1:30 p.m.
