This “firenado” is part fire, part tornado and makes for a 100 percent impressive photograph.

The blazing twister sprung up in Missouri last weekend, and a woman with a passion for photography and impeccable timing caught it on camera.

Janae Copelin was driving in St. Joseph on Saturday when she saw a farmer burning off his field. Curious, she stopped so she could get a shot of the flames.

As she started snapping photos, the firenado formed.

“The sound and heat were intense and a bit scary not knowing if it would stay put, but it only lasted a couple minutes,” Copelin told Kansas City’s KMBC 9.

She posted the impressive photo on her Instragram account.

“This had to be the coolest/scariest thing I’ve ever seen,” she wrote in the photo’s caption.

No one was injured.

Firenados are rare but not unheard of, AccuWeather explained. A flaming vortex can form when strong winds over a fire pull it upward.

“The heat of the fire rising through the air allows the vortex to strengthen and create the firenado,” AccuWeather Meteorologist Eric Leister said.

The fiery cyclone can grow up to 10 stories tall high and their bases can span 10 feet.
