Three men have been hospitalized after their car crashed into a tree in Brooklyn.
Authorities say the 24-year-old driver was heading north on ocean parkway near Avenue O when he lost control and slammed into a tree.
Police say a 21-year-old man riding in the car is in very serious condition, but improving.
The driver and another passenger are both in stable condition.
Sources tell us speed was likely a factor, but there is no indication that alcohol was involved.
They say the driver was distracted when he drove off the road.
