City Marks 21 Years Since World Trade Center Bombing

The victims of the first attack on the World Trade Center are set to be remembered during a memorial ceremony today.

The event will mark the 21st anniversary of the 1993 bombing that killed six people and injured more than a thousand others.

It’s being held at noon at the September 11th Memorial and Museum in Lower Manhattan.

Following a moment of silence, the names of those who died will be read aloud by one their family members.

Six people were convicted of setting off a truck bomb inside a parking garage underneath the towers.

One of the bombers, Ramzi Yousef, is the nephew of self-proclaimed September 11th mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed.
