A man was hit and killed by a sanitation truck in Brooklyn Sunday in the city’s latest pedestrian traffic death.
Police say it happened shortly after 9 a.m. at the intersection of Kingston Avenue and Carroll Street in Crown Heights.
A spokesman said that the truck was making a right turn onto Carroll Street when the victim was hit and crushed by its back wheel.
Police found the 25-year-old man lying in the street with severe head trauma.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
