The Medical Examiner was unable to determine a cause of death for Avonte Oquendo.
After an exhausting battery of tests, the city Medical Examiner cannot determine how Avonte Oquendo died, officials said Wednesday.
Both the cause and manner of death for the autistic teen was listed as undetermined, said a spokeswoman for the city Medical Examiner’s officer.

A citywide manhunt followed after Avonte, 14, walked out of the Riverview School in Long Island City, Queens, on Oct. 4.
Human remains washed ashore in College Point on Jan. 16. DNA testing later confirmed the body parts belonged to the tragic teen.

Police believe he fell into the water near the school and drowned, sources said.
