Police are investigating how a 22-year-old California woman wound up dead in Surfside Three Motel in Howard Beach (pictured) on Saturday.
Police are investigating how a 22-year-old California woman’s body wound up in a Queens motel early Saturday — one of three people found dead in the borough in less than 24 hours.
The woman, whose name was not immediately released, was found in her first-floor room at the Surfside Three Motel on Cross Bay Blvd. in Howard Beach about 11:20 a.m., cops said.

She was last seen by motel staff about 3 a.m., according to police. The woman had checked in with at least two men — who were nowhere to be found when her body was discovered.
Rooms at the motel go for $ 72 for a four-hour stay and $ 150 for the night.

About an hour before the Californian was found, the body of a 51-year-old woman was pulled from the waters off 47th Rd. and Center Blvd. in Hunter’s Point.
The woman, identified as Judy Soo Hoo, 51, was fully dressed and her body showed no signs of trauma, police said.

Later Saturday, an unidentified man was found dead inside a construction site on Cherry Ave. near Robinson St. in Flushing. The grisly discovery took place at about 5:30 p.m., officials said.
The man, wearing blue jeans and a hooded sweatshirt, may have jumped to his death from a six-story building behind the construction site, police sources said.
The city medical examiner will conduct autopsies on all three victims to determine how they died.
