A Brooklyn bandit who launched a one-man armed robbery spree was sent up the river Wednesday for 68 years.

Robert Costan, 48, was convicted of hitting five businesses in Brownstone Brooklyn a total of 12 times in just over a month between October and November 2012.

“The long prison time he now faces sends a clear message that those who would disrupt the safety of our communities will pay dearly for their crimes,” said Brooklyn District Attorney Kenneth Thompson.

Costan, who was found guilty two weeks ago, targeted a Tasti-D-Lite in Park Slope three times, a nearby laundry joint two times, a Prospect Heights dry cleaning place three times and also a couple of Subway restaurants.

In one Fort Greene location, the stick-up man was foiled when the clerk ran to the back of the sandwich shop and locked himself in a closet, prosecutors said.

Costan returned about a week later, brandished a gun and said, “Don’t be cheap like the last time. Take out the money or I’ll shoot.”

He made out with about $ 600.
