An 82-year-old Staten Island man shot himself after fatally blasting his granddaughter and critically wounding another man Friday night, cops said.
The grandfather first shot the 47-year-old man in the head in front of Rosebank house at about 6 p.m. – then blasted his 28-year-old granddaughter in the head inside the house, cops said.
As the dying woman lay unconscious and bleeding inside the Virginia Avenue house, the alleged shooter fled the house, driving his red Mitsubishi Eclipse five blocks before shooting himself inside the vehicle, according to cops and witnesses.
The granddaughter, whose name was not released, was taken to Staten Island North Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The male victim was also taken to Staten Island North where he is in critical condition. The shooter was taken to Richmond University Medical Center where he is also in critical condition, cops said.
First responders took a child from the house, police said.
“They’ve fought outside before — we’ve heard them fighting,” neighbor Linda Wu told The Post of the fractious family.
The house where the shooting took place is down the street from the home where pop singer Christina Aguilera lived as a baby.
