Cops found nearly $ 30,000 in cash and lots of prescription drug bottles when they busted Colts owner Jim Irsay for drunk driving earlier this month.

The details of Irsay’s March 16 arrest were reported by the Indianapolis Star on Wednesday night after the newspaper obtained the police reports through a public records request.

The 54-year-old NFL owner checked himself into a treatment facility two days after police found multiple prescription drugs in his vehicle during the traffic stop near his suburban home in Carmel, Ind.

The Star’s reporting says that police found $ 29,029 in cash in his Toyota Highlander. Most of the cash was found in a briefcase and laundry bag. Numerous bottle containing prescription drugs were also found in the car.
