Mighty Quinn: May 19

What did the Pacers need to snap out of their funk? Mighty to pick their opponent! What did the Pacers need to snap out of their funk? Mighty to pick their opponent!

More people asked Mighty who he liked in the Rangers/Canadiens series, as opposed to which horse he picked in the Preakess. Either way, seems like those, and maybe others, didn’t read Saturday’s Mighty Quinn. Here it is:

“This is a first. The quote of the week comes from Mighty himself, when posting the following Thursday on Facebook:

“For those FB’s friends of Mighty, who can’t wait until Saturday, The Great Mighty Quinn, once again, based on his superior knowledge of sports, predicts the Rangers will defeat the Canadiens for the Eastern Conference championship, AND, it might be a short series.’

“Mighty hit with the A’s on Friday and likes Pablo Del Monte in the Preakness and the Rangers (series) on Saturday. Deficit is 387 sirignanos.”

Mighty missed with the Heat (-2 1/2) on Sunday and likes the Rangers on Monday. The deficit is 492 sirignanos.
