Would you like champagne with your Grand Slam ?
The diner chain Denny’s will open a Manhattan restaurant today that features a swanky spin on its classic greasy spoon meals — including a $ 300 breakfast, leather booths and bottles of Dom Perignon.
Specialty items served at the Financial District eatery include craft mezcal cocktails, bottles of vintage Dom Perignon Vintage champagne and $ 9 “house” bloody Marys — alongside a mural of the Brooklyn Bridge.
The $ 300 “Grand Cru Slam” breakfast comes with two Grand Slam breakfasts, a bottle of Dom Perignon and a “bartender high five,” according to the restaurant.
Don’t worry — the diner will still serve classics like grilled cheese and mozzarella sticks.
It will open on Nassau and Spruce street, near Pace University.
