Bill and Hillary Clinton welcome their first grandchild into the world.

Their daughter Chelsea took to Twitter and Facebook to deliver the big news, writing, “Marc and I are full of love, awe and gratitude as we celebrate the birth of our daughter, Charlotte Clinton Mezvinsky.”
The proud grandparents also put out a statement, reading in part, “We are thrilled to be with our daughter and her husband as they welcome their daughter into the world. Chelsea is well and glowing. Marc is bursting with pride. Charlotte’s life is off to a good start.”
The baby was born Friday evening.
The news comes as former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and former New York state senator considers a 2016 presidential run.
She has said she didn’t want to make any decisions about another campaign until the baby’s arrival.
