An 80-year-old was struck and killed by a van in Chinatown, police said.
The victim was crossing Kenmare Street around 1:35 p.m., Thursday, when a van carrying party supplies turned left onto Elizabeth Street — knocking the elderly woman to the ground, cops said.
She suffered severe body trauma and was declared dead at a nearby hospital around 2:10 p.m., authorities said.
The victim has not been identified.
The driver of the van had the green light and remained on scene, officials added.
It was not immediately clear whether the woman had the crosswalk signal as well, cops said.
