The dog bit one officer near the St. Nicholas Houses and then was shot and killed by another.
A cop shot a dog after the canine bit another officer in the leg in Harlem Friday morning, police sources said.
The 6:20 a.m. incident occurred at the St. Nicholas Houses on W. 127th St. when officers from Brooklyn South Warrants arrived to look for a woman who had apparently missed a court date.

The dog bit one cop in the thigh, prompting another officer to fire once, hitting the animal in the shoulder.
The wounded cop was taken to St. Lukes’s Hospital for treatment. The dog was also being given medical attention.

The woman who was the subject of the warrant search was arrested.
