First Cold Weather Outdoor Super Bowl Kicks Off at MetLife Stadium

The first outdoor Super Bowl located in a cold-weather state is underway at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

The Denver Broncos and the Seattle Seahawks are facing off at the home stadium of the Giants and Jets.

This year’s big event has been nicknamed the first “Mass Transit Super Bowl.”

Many fans who entered the stadium said that getting to the game on the train was a painless process.

“It has worked beautifully. The trains stop on the clock every time. Everything’s been beautiful,” said one Broncos fan.

“The process has actually gone better than what I was expecting. You know, people here have been super nice and super generous and very helpful in telling us where to go,” said another Broncos fan.

Fans were encouraged to get to the stadium early because of extensive security screenings.

Bruno Mars and the Red Hot Chili Peppers will be performing at half-time.

The NFL says they should take the stage at around 8:15 p.m.

Opera star Renee Fleming will be singing the National Anthem before kick-off.
